VUMC has a heart for mission and ministry which is expressed by our active support of numerous global, national and local projects. Unpaid servants are welcomed for all of our outreach opportunities.

Helping locally
F.I.S.H.
(Feeding Individuals and Sharing Hope)
Our F.I.S.H. program reaches out to the community by providing meals to local residents once a week.
Food Pantry
Communion Sunday Food Drive
Food is collected on the first Sunday of the month and delivered to the Santa Clarita Food Pantry and Help the Children.
Meals Ministry
Provide meals for individuals and families during times of illness, surgery, or after the birth of a baby.
Family Promise
Newly homeless families are assisted in regaining their housing, their independence, and their dignity through a community-wide interfaith program.
Hill's Angels
Helps incarcerated youth who are searching for redemption, direction, and meaning in their lives.
Fingers of God
Share God's love with the residents of Summerhill Villa's Assisted Living and Alzheimer's Unit for men and women.
Prayer Shawl
Gather together for prayer and to knit and crochet shawls to be given to people on the church prayer chain.
Congregational Care Team
Prayer and support are the cornerstones of this visitation ministry for individuals experiencing a life transition of grief, illness, newly married or welcoming a new baby.
Helping Globally
Project Chacocente
Organizes mission trips and collects funds to help families in Nicaragua move from living in the city dump of Managua to independent living in Masaya.
