Whether you’re a member or just visiting, we welcome you to our faith community. We’re glad you’re here and would love to meet you in person, either on Sunday morning or at one of our many church activities during the week.

If you’re single, married, young or old, have a large family or small, we want you to experience the warmth, fellowship, joy, and support that so many others have felt here at Valencia United Methodist Church. Each member here becomes part of a family, and as a visitor you will be welcomed with open arms.

It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a new church home or you’ve never attended a worship service in your life, we invite you to join us and look forward to meeting you!

All-Church Study

February 26th-

March 25th

We will begin an all-church study on Sunday, February 26th, based on "The Power of a Whisper" by pastor and author Bill Hybels. Throughout the five-week study, we will each be learning how to discern God's voice from the many others that compete for our attention -- family, children, friends, co-workers, etc. -- and finding the courage to respond. Join us as we listen for God's vision for our lives, our families, and for our church.

Small Groups will meet weekly for fellowship and conversation based on the weekly sermon and a DVD session. If you are new to VUMC or are not currently in a small group, please stop by the table during coffee fellowship during February to sign up. Groups are open to all, and there are many to choose from: men, women, couples, mixed, young adults, and youth.

Momentum for Life

You cannot get to where you want to be in your faith, influence, relationships, vocation, or physical and emotional health if you are not moving forward. Maintaining life momentum is imperative if you are going to faithfully navigate your way through a world of clouded moral boundaries. We invite you to join us as we explore a model for daily living that will help us find the self management practices that create momentum for life. Beginning Sunday, January 8th, we will look at the elements that can keep us moving with momentum using the acronym D-R-I-V-E.
